About
Filmmaker. Triathlete. Coach.
My name is Aidan LeTendre. I’m a triathlete and coach in Los Angeles, California.
Since I was a kid, I’ve loved planning, designing, and building things. Usually movies or LEGO. Now, training plans too. My short films got me into USC and UCLA’s high school programs, then NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. At NYU, I wrote, directed, and shot over a dozen films. Film sets taught me to lead and to stick to a plan when everything goes sideways. I co-founded Praetorian Pictures with my best friend, Parker Sack, and I’m still making films.
In 2021, I started lifting. I was a skinny kid. Three years later, I was bigger and stronger, but I didn’t feel healthy. I couldn’t have run a mile if I tried. So I started running. Training stopped being about how I looked and started being about how I felt. I got hooked on being a hybrid athlete.
In December 2024, I signed up for IRONMAN 70.3 Florida. I couldn’t swim a lap. I didn’t own a bike. Two weeks out, I strained my knee and IT band. A week out, a concussion.
I never doubted I’d finish. I knew I could, and I knew I would.
That race taught me patience, discipline, and humility. The real victory wasn’t crossing the finish line, but becoming the person who could. Six months later, I took 22 minutes off on a harder course in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland.
In 2026, I moved to Los Angeles for film and became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Certified Nutrition Coach. I coach the way I make films: plan carefully, build piece by piece, and adjust when things change. Next up: IRONMAN 70.3 La Quinta, then IRONMAN Montana in August 2027. When I’m not training or on set, I’m on the golf course.
